Im normalen Zustand haben die Elemente mit einer lichten Öffnung
von 18 cm 2 einen hohen Luftdurchlaß. Die Luft kann
ausreichend zirkulieren und die Wärme wird abgeführt. Im Falle
eines Brandes schäumen die innenliegenden Hallihalo ® Pakete schon ab ca. 100°C auch ohne direkte Beflammung auf und schließen die Öffnung
hermetisch ab, so daß die Schutzfunktion des Kabelkanales sichergestellt ist.
Die Lüftungelemente sind aus einem stabilen Rahmen aus
Brandschutzplatten gefertigt. Dieser Rahmen ist von innen mit
in 1,5 mm starkem Polystyrol eingeschweißten Hallihalopaketen
ausgekleidet. Stirnseitig werden die Elemente mit einem Gitter
aus 0,6 mm dickem verzinktem Blech verschlossen. Die Lüftungselemente haben die Abmessungen (L,B,H) 170 mm x
190 mm x 40 mm.

In normal operating mode with an interior opening of 18 cm2, these elements have a high rate of airflow. The air can circulate adequately and the heat is removed. In case of a fire, the Hallihalo ® packets on the inside will foam up already at ca. 100°C even without direct flame and will hermetically close off the opening, so that the protective
function of the cable channel is secured.
The
ventilating elements are manufactured from a stable frame out of fire
protective panels. This frame is covered on the inside with Hallihalo packets welded in 1.5 mm strong polystyrene. The elements are closed at the end with a grating of 0.6 mm thick galvanized plate. The ventilating elements' dimensions are (LxWxH) 170 mm x 190 mm x 40 mm.
